The cinema of the DFF German Film Institute and Film Museum goes back to the municipal cinema that opened in 1971. With modern technology and the motto “showing other films differently”, the cinema makes every visit a special experience.
Special films are shown here – classics, current films, rarities and many works in their original version. There are two major series every month, often in line with the exhibitions or specific themes, countries or genres. There are also regular special programs and film talks with directors and experts.
A highlight for families: every Friday and Sunday afternoon there is a selected children’s and family program – sophisticated, entertaining and always on the big screen.
If you would like to use your voucher coupon to reserve a seat for a movie screening in advance, call the ticket reservation desk.
