FAMILY WORKSHOP AT THE MUSEUM FÜR KOMMUNIKATION

every Saturday | 3:30 pm
every Sunday | 10:30 am and 11:45 am
ages 4+ | 5 EUR for 1 child + 1 adult (plus admission for adults—free for children with KUFTI)

The children’s workshop is the heart of the Museum für Kommunikation. On 150 square metres, visitors of all ages can discover and try out communication in all kinds of fun ways. Send messages by pneumatic post, talk to each other on rotary dial phones, print letters on paper à la Gutenberg in the printing workshop. A large children’s post corner awaits kindergarteners, and for older kids there’s a morse computer and a shadow theatre to play with. Inventors big and small can also try their hand at upcycling and making new things from electronic waste. Members of the museum education team oversee the children’s workshop, give introductions and provide assistance where needed. Further information here.
